Description

Capital Digestive Care Laboratory is seeking board-certified Anatomic/Clinical Pathologists with subspecialty expertise in gastrointestinal pathology to join diagnostic practice.  

Capital Digestive Care Laboratory is the largest specialty laboratory in the Mid-Atlantic states, located in Silver Spring, MD. With a focus on gastroenterology, the laboratory provides services to 30+ office and ASC locations with a growing number of referring provider offices.  

This role is on-site.  

Requirements

Education: 
The successful candidate requires a MD/PhD or DO degree 
Board certification in Anatomic Pathology and/or Clinical Pathology  
Maintains a license in the State of Maryland 

Experience: 
Fellowship training with experience in gastrointestinal biopsy pathology  
Surgical Pathology with subspecialty and extensive experience in gastrointestinal biopsy pathology will be considered 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
Diagnostic expertise in gastrointestinal biopsy pathology(including esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon and anal) 
Ability to maximize workflow efficiency within a high-volume environment 
Digital pathology experience a plus  
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, integrity, accountability, and exceptional clinical judgment
