Contract Pathologist needed to join our team
TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA (USA). A large group of pathologists affiliated with a large reference laboratory is seeking an exceptional AP/CP Board Certified pathologist with fellowship training and certification in Surgical Pathology and Hematopathology to join our team. Additional Hematology board certification is preferred. Interest and experience in breast pathology, gynecological pathology, uropathology, gastrointestinal pathology (including liver/MASH) and interpreting bone marrow biopsies is a plus. Applicants with several years’ post-fellowship experience are preferred.
In addition to possessing excellent communication, interpretive skills, and teamwork abilities, the successful candidate must have a California medical license with a willingness to obtain medical licenses in the states of New York and North Carolina. Pathologists enjoy flexible work schedules with no frozen section, grossing, autopsy, or on-call responsibilities. Compensation is competitive and based upon fee for service, with on-site work only (no remote/hybrid).
