Genitourinary Pathology Fellowship
Description: The ACGME-accredited Genitourinary Pathology Fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System offers an immersive, busy one-year experience in advanced diagnostic GU pathology with ample prostate, bladder, kidney, testis, and penile specimens.
Fellows are integral members of the diagnostic team and actively participate in departmental conferences and tumor boards. The fellow is expected to prepare and submit at least one original article by the end of the fellowship year.
The Genitourinary service evaluates approximately 9,000 surgical specimens annually composed of our growing in-house and consultation cases, offering a rich and diverse volume that ensures robust training in both common and rare pathologies. Graduates leave the program fully prepared for successful careers in academic or community practice, with exceptional expertise in genitourinary pathology.
Requirements: Applicant must be Board eligible or certified in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology or Anatomic Pathology.
Stipends: Commensurate with level of postgraduate training.
