We are a well-established doctor's office looking for a new employee to join our team. Our company is looking for individuals who are independent and self-motivated. As a company we are focused on providing our patients with quality healthcare. We believe that each employee is an integral part of our team. We are currently seeking a per-diem Histology Technician for our office located in Hillsborough, NJ. This is a per-diem position, applicants need to be able to work at a minimum one day a week, from 8-12 or 9-1.

Requirements:

-ASCP certification, or HT, HTL

- Have a high school education

-A minimum of five year experience as a Histology Technician

Requirements

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Processing and preparing patient tissue specimens.

- Logging, batching, embedding, cutting, mounting, and staining procedures.

-Embed and cut GI biopsy special stains.

-Sorting, logging and prioritizing diagnostic cases in accordance with standard requirements.
