Laboratory Manager
The Supervisory Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) serves as the Laboratory Manager at the Orlando VA Healthcare System, overseeing all phases of laboratory service operations. Key responsibilities include managing budgeting, procurement, property management, and ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards. The Lab Manager collaborates with other departments and levels within the VA, plans, and executes short- and long-term goals, and provides advisory services on complex lab management issues. They also supervise staff, handle performance evaluations, and maintain quality assurance programs. Additional duties involve staying current with research, maintaining FAR-COR Level II certification, and managing the program budget.

Location: Orlando VA Healthcare System - Pathology and Laboratory Service (Orlando-Lake Nona)
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 08:00am - 4:30pm and extended hours coverage based on facility needs.
