Hartford Pathology Associates, PC is seeking an AP/CP board-certified pathologist to assume the role of Medical Director/ Chief of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at Backus Hospital in Norwich, Connecticut. The Department which is staffed by 2 full-time pathologists, handles approximately 9000 surgical cases along 1200 non-gyn cytology specimens. Responsibilities also include supervision of the Clinical Laboratory and active participation in the hospital activities (tumor boards, quality improvement initiatives and system-wide meetings). Candidates with several years of experience are desirable. Backus Hospital is a 213-bed hospital and is one of the hospitals in the network of Hartford HealthCare.

Candidates with several years of experience are desirable, but recent graduates will be considered.
