Description

A private practice pathology group based in Richmond, Virginia is seeking an AP/CP pathologist. We are an independently contracted pathology practice of eight board certified pathologists, serving the seven Bon Secours hospitals in the Richmond Market.  We are looking for an AP/CP pathologist candidate who possesses strong diagnostic skills in surgical pathology and cytopathology, with an aptitude and interest in taking on laboratory directorship responsibilities in the future. The position can be a partnership track or non-partnership track position, with a competitive salary based on experience and a benefits package that includes 30 days of paid vacation per calendar year, 5 days of continuing education per year, and Health Savings Account, and a profit sharing retirement plan. In addition, the corporation pays health insurance, disability insurance, and malpractice insurance premiums.

Requirements

Medical Doctorate (MD, DO) required

Board Certified / Board Eligible in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology

Fellowship training in an area of surgical pathology or cytopathology is helpful, but not required

A current active license to practice medicine in Virginia, or eligibility to become licensed in Virginia is required.
