Pathologists
Position 1 (Cytopathologist):
The Orlando VA Health Care System at Lake Nona is actively seeking a full-time Staff Pathologist for the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded pathologist with board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and board certification in Cytopathology. Fellowship training in Cytopathology with ultrasound-guided FNA biopsy experience is required. The incumbent will also serve as the technical director of our expanding cytology service.
Position 2 (Surgical pathologist):
The Orlando VA Health Care System at Lake Nona is actively seeking a full-time Staff Pathologist for the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded surgical pathologist with board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, able to sign out general surgical pathology with confidence and superior interpretive skills. Fellowship training in Surgical Pathology is required with a preference for candidates trained and/or experienced in head and neck pathology and/or pulmonary pathology.
Position 3 (Molecular pathologist):
The Orlando VA Health Care System at Lake Nona is actively seeking a full-time Staff Pathologist for the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded pathologist with board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology as well as board certification in Molecular Pathology. Fellowship training in molecular pathology is required. The candidate may assist in covering Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Services including evaluation of send out testing, interpretation of immunoassays and validation of various assays.

Location: Orlando VA Healthcare System - Pathology and Laboratory Service (Orlando-Lake Nona)
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-430pm (Note: Work schedules are determined and approved by the supervisor. The incumbent may be required to work various shifts on a permanent or temporary basis based on facility/patient care needs).
