TRACK POSITION IN SOUTH FLORIDA

Pathology Consultants of South Broward (PCSB) is a private practice of 28 Pathologists that provides Anatomic and Clinical Pathology services for the Memorial Healthcare System (MHS).  We are in an exciting location on the Atlantic Ocean between Miami and Fort Lauderdale with world famous beaches, cultural activities, restaurants, sports, and vacation facilities.  We have an immediate opening for a Surgical Pathologist, board certified/eligible in Anatomic (AP) or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP).

The MHS has 2,000 beds spanning six hospital campuses. The System provides numerous services including Specialty Oncology, Breast, Endocrine, Immunology, GI, ID, Renal, Thoracic, Neurologic, Level I Trauma, GYN and Obstetrics, Cardiovascular, and Transplant (Bone Marrow, Adult and Pediatric Heart, Kidney).  

Our group’s subspecialists include Molecular Genetic Pathology with in-house NGS, and experts in Lung, Gyn, GI/Liver, GU, Medical Renal, Dermatopathology, Cytopathology, Neuropathology, Cardiovascular, Pediatric, and Placental Pathology.  A team of 6 Hematopathologists covers all adult and pediatric hematolymphoid diagnostics. We provide in-house Molecular Pathology profiling, IHC/ISH diagnostics, and Flow Cytometry.  Gross Specimen examinations are performed by Master’s Degree Pathologists’ Assistants and Grossing Histotechnologists. MHS Histotechnologists are on-call with Pathologists 24/7 to assist with frozen sections.  A dedicated Clinical Pathology team - including experts in Transfusion Medicine and PhD’s overseeing molecular Microbiology and Chemistry - are an integral part of our group.
