- Surgical Pathologist: Preferred Part-time, Full-time Considered

Langhorne Pathology Associates is seeking a preferred part-time but will consider full-time surgical pathologist. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, have an M.D. or D.O. degree, qualify for unrestricted medical licensure in Pennsylvania and be board certified in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology.
Langhorne Pathology Associates provides anatomic and clinical pathology services for Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic North hospitals including St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA, and Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. The Pathology Department, located at St. Mary Medical Center, processes over 9,000 surgical specimens and 1,500 cytology specimens annually, including neoplastic and non-neoplastic specimens. The candidate must have excellent written and communication skills and have a strong background in surgical pathology, particularly in breast and urologic pathology. Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system is a plus. Fellowship training is preferred but not required. Daily responsibilities include signout of surgical/cytology specimens, frozen sections, on-site adequacy assessment for interventional biopsies, and review of peripheral blood smears and blood bank antibody panels. The candidate is also expected to actively participate in the medical staff through weekly tumor board presentations.
