Houston Methodist Hospital – Texas Medical Center
Houston Methodist Pathology Associates (MPA), Houston, Texas, is seeking a full-time AP/CP board-certified hematopathologist.
Candidates should have at least two years of hematopathology experience, be committed to excellence in patient care, and have or be able to obtain a Texas medical license. The individual will join a large, collegial academic pathology group practice that provides excellent diagnostic services to all hospitals in the Houston Methodist Hospital System. The position will be based predominantly at Houston Methodist Hospital in the Texas Medical Center.
Candidates should have a proven track record of providing outstanding hematopathology diagnostic service, working effectively with departmental colleagues, other medical staff members, laboratory technical personnel, and hospital administration and educating residents and fellows. All applicants with strong hematopathology service experience will be considered.
Houston Methodist Hospital has a primary affiliation with Weill Cornell Medical College, and the successful candidate will be eligible for a faculty appointment. Opportunities exist for optional collaborative research interactions and other academic endeavors. The Department has vibrant ACGME-accredited fellowships in hematopathology and selective hematopathology.
