Description

While this position is listed for Part Time we do offer a number of flexible options that may fit your needs in your next job search, they are responsible for the performance of a variety of laboratory tests in an accurate and timely manner. Professional judgment is exercised to ascertain the appropriateness of the test orders, the validity of test results and to communicate this information to the physician

• Performs highly complex laboratory procedures in a variety of laboratory sections with minimum supervision 
• Performs continuous quality assurance activities
• Maintains general operations of the laboratory

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and 1-2 years experience May include MLS clinical rotations as 1 year of experience, preferred Clinical Laboratory experience, and one of the following certifications: 
- MT(ASCP)
- MT(AMT)
- MLS (ASCP/ASCPi) 
- MT (AAB) 
- Certification in a Lab Specialty
