Molecular Genetic Pathologist
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine in the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio (UTHSA) is seeking an MD, DO, or MD/PhD Molecular Genetic Pathologist to join our faculty.
The applicant must possess or be qualified to obtain a current Texas medical license, be Board-certified in Clinical Pathology or in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and Board-certified or Board-eligible in Molecular Genetic Pathology at the time of appointment. Expertise in Hematopathology or Bioinformatics is beneficial. The candidate will also teach Pathology residents; other teaching opportunities include interactions with clinical faculty, residents, fellows, and medical student teaching.
The successful candidate should possess strong organizational and communication skills, and experience practicing in an academic medical center. The successful candidate must have recognized scholarly achievements, including teaching, and an established publication record. Academic rank and salary will be based on experience and curriculum vitae.
