SURGICAL PATHOLOGIST

St. Anne’s Hospital
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at St. Anne’s Hospital (Fall River, Massachusetts), an affiliate of Brown University Health Academic Medical Center, is seeking a General Surgical Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have broad surgical pathology expertise; subspeciality training in GI, GYN, GU, and/or breast pathology welcomed but not required.
Qualifications:
- MD, DO, or MBBS degree.
- Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology through the American Board of Pathology (or Canadian equivalent).
- Broad expertise in surgical pathology; fellowship training is essential.
- At least five years of experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic expertise in general surgical pathology.
- Participate in clinical pathology oversight and support laboratory operations.
- Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, and Joint Commission standards.
- Collaborate closely with hospital administration, medical staff, and laboratory personnel to support clinical needs.
